AmeriCare HomeCare was established in the Triangle market in 2009.
What is your primary product or service?
AmeriCare HomeCare provides non-medical home care services for adults of all ages. Our certified caregivers provide assistance with the challenges of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing and grooming, Our services also include help around the house, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and errands.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As the owner of the business, I am involved in all aspects of AmeriCare HomeCare service. I came to this line of work through personal experience. I helped to care for my father and my grandfather. This gave me insight on how truly challenging it can be, especially when done long-distance.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
AmeriCare HomeCare operates as a boutique agency. We are client focused and very hands-on with our service, at levels of our organization. Our staff is comprised of only Certified Nurse Aides, governed by a Registered Nurse.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
AmeriCare HomeCare is based in Chapel Hill. The agency covers Orange, Durham, parts of Alamance and parts of Chatham counties. A new location (under separate ownership) is opening in Wake County.
