How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our 1st stay in a Bed & Breakfast was in 1995. A friend gave us a gift certificate, we enjoyed it so much that for the next year when we traveled we stayed in B&B's where ever we could. Love it so much we decided that we wanted to open an inn. We found our property in the fall of 1996 and we opened in April 1997.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our location is great, we are located within walking distance to various sites, shopping and dining venues in the city . We anticipate the needs of our guests.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
This is our primary location with no expansion plans at the current date.

***Please note that Gregson Street is a one-way street that becomes Vickers Ave. after crossing the overpass over Hwy 147 just past the Durham Police Department.
I-85 South: Exit 176 - Duke/Gregson Street. Make a left onto Gregson Street. Proceed past Brightleaf Square & the Durham Police Department. After crossing the overpass Morehead Manor is two blocks down on the right.
I-85 North: Exit 172 - Downtown/ Durham Freeway (Hwy 147 S ). Proceed on the freeway to Exit 13- Chapel Hill Street, turn left at the intersection, make the right at the traffic light onto Gregson Street. After crossing the overpass Morehead Manor is two blocks down on the right.
I-40 West (From The Airport): Exit 279-B - Durham Freeway (Hwy 147 N), proceed to the Exit 12C - Duke Street. Get into your far left lane, turn left at the 1st traffic light onto Jackson Street, go over to the stop sign, and make a left onto Gregson Street. After crossing the overpass Morehead Manor is two blocks down on the right.
I-40 East: Exit onto Hwy.15-501 north and follow the direction below.
From the South Square Area (Hwy. 15-501 North): Follow Hwy. 15-501 Business to University Drive. Past Forest Hills Shopping Center (Compare Foods) turn left on Duke Street. Make a Left turn at the 2nd light onto Jackson Street. Come over one block to Gregson Street & make a left. Morehead Manor is two blocks down on the right.
